Since we moved in together, Tyson and I have been modifiying our lifestyle to be more and more environmentally conscious. We have never been rich, and for a significant portion of that time we were much poorer than we are now. Consequently we try to find the cheapest way to be modern hippies, and when we do spend a lot of money on something it's because we researched the heck out of it and feel that it's the best choice (adhering to the maxim that we are too poor to buy cheap). In fact, in the long run the cheaper choice is often the greener choice. Living on a budget and being environmentally conscious can go hand in hand. This site is dedicated to passing on some of that research and experience.
